The makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 announced the film’s cast, featuring Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan. Speaking about Vidya Balan, Anees recalled her swift agreement to a three-day role in his film Thank You. He expressed gratitude for her immediate consent and remembered her gracious gesture, which laid the foundation for their professional relationship. Anees attributed his current project to their initial collaboration and praised Vidya’s professionalism. They revealed the project on social media by posting a compilation video of Kartik and Vidya’s versions of Ami Je Tomar. Kartik Aaryan welcomed Vidya Balan onboard, expressing his excitement for OG Manjulika’s return to the world of Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
The film, set for release this Diwali, will be backed by Bhushan Kumar.

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee, who is set to direct the third installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, clarified Akshay Kumar’s role in the project. Anees confirmed that Akshay will not be a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, expressing his desire to collaborate with him in the future. He mentioned that although he’s eager to work with Akshay, he hasn’t yet found the right script for them to collaborate on.
Anees revealed that the shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is scheduled to commence on March 10, although the exact date hasn’t been finalized yet.

Producer Bhushan Kumar expressed his excitement about expanding the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. He stated, as quoted by news agency ANI,
