Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to Ahmedabad hospital due to heat stroke. He was in Ahmedabad to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between his team, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.

According to reports, Shah Rukh was dehydrated because of the high temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad. He is currently under medical observation, but his condition is stable. Security around the hospital has been increased.

Shah Rukh Khan Admitted to Ahmedabad Hospital Due to Heat Stroke

Actor Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalized on Wednesday afternoon because of a heatstroke, according to PTI. His wife, Gauri Khan, and his friends Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, rushed to the hospital in Ahmedabad after hearing the news.

In a video shared by ANI on X (formerly Twitter), Gauri Khan looks worried as she enters the hospital with a security guard.

Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta were also seen leaving the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad after visiting Shah Rukh.

More information is awaited, and the family has not yet released an official statement. 

The news of Shah Rukh Khan’s hospitalization has worried his fans. Many users took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their concern for the actor. One fan wrote, “OMG, I hope he is fine.” Another added, “Get well soon our king.”

Shah Rukh Khan Celebrates KKR’s IPL Victory

Shah Rukh Khan attended the Kolkata Knight Riders’ IPL match at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday night. With his children Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, Shah Rukh Khan greeted the audience after KKR’s win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), which secured their place in the IPL 2024 finals. The official Instagram pages of KKR and the Indian Premier League (IPL) shared pictures and videos of the family’s celebratory walk. He was thrilled as KKR won the play-offs and qualified for the IPL 2024 finals.

After the win, Shah Rukh celebrated by taking a victory lap. During the lap, he struck his famous arms-outstretched pose for the thousands of fans in the stadium. He also hugged and kissed his team players to celebrate their success. Additionally, SRK, known for his supportive nature, encouraged the Sunrisers Hyderabad players by chatting with them after the match.

Shah Rukh Khan to Resume Shooting Later This Year

Shah Rukh Khan is expected to start shooting for his movie “King” later this year. Recently, while speaking on Star Sports’ Knight Club’s King Khan Rules, he shared details about his return to filming. 

Last year, he had three movie releases (Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki), which kept him very busy. Due to the physical demands of these roles, he decided to take a break and focus on his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
