Apple has opened a new office in Bengaluru. With this strategic move, Apple expanded its presence in India, in a bid to further its plans for local manufacturing. This cutting-edge office has dedicated lab spaces, collaborative work areas, wellness zones, and the renowned Caffe Macs. It can accommodate up to 1,200 employees across its 15 floors, emphasizing a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

Situated at Minsk Square, the heart of the city, the office is conveniently close to prominent landmarks, including Vidhana Soudha, Karnataka High Court, central library, Chinnaswamy cricket stadium, and the iconic Cubbon Park—one of Bengaluru’s largest green parks. Cubbon Park metro station’s proximity ensures easy accessibility for employees.

Apple expresses excitement about its new office in Bengaluru, stating that the dynamic city already hosts numerous talented teams, covering software engineering, hardware technologies, operations, customer support, and more. The workspace is designed to foster innovation, creativity, and connection, providing an ideal environment for collaborative efforts.

In terms of interiors, locally sourced wood, stone, and fabrics adorn the walls and flooring, creating a unique aesthetic. The Apple new office is also adorned with native plants, contributing to a vibrant and eco-friendly atmosphere. Notably, Apple’s commitment to sustainability is evident, as the workplace will operate on 100% renewable energy and strive for a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating, the highest level of LEED certification.

Apple Bengaluru office is a hub for employees engaged in software, hardware, services, IS&T, operations, customer support, and various other businesses. The tech giant, headquartered in Cupertino, boasts over 3,000 employees in India, showcasing its strong commitment to the country. The establishment of two physical stores, Apple BKC and Apple Saket, in 2023 further underscores Apple’s dedication to the Indian market.

Emphasizing India’s significance, Apple CEO Tim Cook highlighted the company’s exceptional performance in the country, achieving an all-time revenue record with robust double-digit growth. Cook expressed excitement about the vast potential in India, given its large market size and the increasing number of people entering the middle class. Apple sees India as an extraordinary market and a major focus for future endeavours.
