HDFC Bank, LIC, ICICI, Reliance, and TCS saw a huge increase in their market cap in the current financial year.

Nifty and Sensex both went very high in the past week. The week was fabulous for the share market. The capital of the top-valued firms of India rose by a significant amount. The market cap of the top seven companies in India rose by over 3 lakh crore rupees.

Increase in the Market Value of the Most Valued Companies in India

The capital of HDFC, LIC, and Reliance increased by 3,04,477.25 crore rupees. These are counted among the top 10 companies in India. The last week was quite good for these firms. The stock market is witnessing a trend of rise in equities. The equity market is displaying a positive inclination. As seen last week. 

Seven big companies in India gained the highest in the sale of their shares. Out of these, HDFC Bank and LIC gained the highest in terms of the sale of shares. 

Gains of Some of the Most Valued Companies in India

HDFC Bank gained a profit of more than 74,076 crore rupees. The current value of the company is 12,54,664.74 crore rupees. 

On the other hand, LIC or Life Insurance Corporation gained an amount of 65,558 crore rupees through the sale of shares. With this, the company’s value currently is at more than 4,89,428.32 crore rupees. 

HDFC Bank and LIC are among the seven most valued companies in India. 

The BSE also witnessed a rise in equity sales. It went high by 2,344.41 points. In terms of percentage, it equals a hike of 3.47%. The BSE Sensex was at 69,825.60 on 8th December. It was an increase of about 303.91 points equalling 0.44%. 

TCS’s capital increased from 42,737.72 crore rupees to 13,26,918.39 crore rupees. On the other hand, the capital of SBI or State Bank of India increased from Rs 37,617.24 crore to Rs 5,47,971.17 crore. Infosys rose from Rs 15,916.92 crore to Rs 6,18,663.93 crore. 

Firms that Faced a Loss

Some companies faced a loss and there was a downfall in their market value. Hindustan Unilever went down from 9,844.79 crore rupees to 5,92,414.19 crore rupees.

Another firm that faced a loss was Bharti Airtel. Its value decreased from Rs 8,569.98 crore to Rs 5,61,896.90 crore. The value of ITC fell from Rs 935.48 crore to Rs 5,60,223.61 crore.
