DigitalPaani helps in monitoring the performance of these machines. It plays an important role in detecting problems in the infrastructure and offering remedies for them.
The enterprise is helping many customers and industries reuse wastewater with its wastewater treatment infrastructure. It has helped owners of commercial areas and industries save 60% of the cost of water.
More than 40 industries are among the buyers of the company and are using its technology. It includes big names like Tata Power and Britannia. Apart from this Leela Hotels and the Jal boards of some states like Delhi and among the users of the startup’s technology.
Water Management Startup DigitalPaani Receives Huge Investment
The latest update is that the startup has received an investment of 1.2 million dollars. Elemental Excelerator led the funding round for the investment. This is the first time that the accelerator has invested in Asia.
The other companies that were present in the seed round are Enzia Ventures, SAE, and Bharat Founders. A few other companies that led the round include Peer Cheque and DevC.
The seed round for the investment saw participation by angel investors like Alok Mittal, Mohit Tandon, and Ashish Goel. Besides this, angels like Mohit Sadani were also present.
DigitalPaani’s Future Plans
DigitalPaani intends to use the new investment to help more customers. It wants businesses in India to get access to its technology and wastewater treatment facility.
The company has plans to find additional markets in the coming times. The startup has revealed its plans through a press release.
The wastewater management company plans to offer more services in Urban areas in India. It includes top cities like Pune, Mumbai, and the NCR region of Delhi. It will also increase its business in Southern India in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
They want to help 150 wastewater treatment sites get their services. This will help in making the operation of the wastewater plants better. The startup is doing a good job of helping the nation achieve its water sustainability goals.
