The couple will exchange wedding vows in a grand celebration blending Sikh and Christian traditions. Taapsee, who has been in a relationship with Mathias for about ten years, addressed the rumours about her upcoming marriage, stating, “I have never given any clarification regarding my personal life, and I never will.”

According to an NDTV report, the wedding celebrations for Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe will occur at the end of March in Udaipur. It will be a family-centric affair with no Bollywood celebrities invited. The wedding is anticipated to be a fusion of Sikh and Christian cultures, promising a captivating blend of traditions.
Taapsee Pannu has been in a relationship with Danish badminton coach Mathias Boe for about a decade. Their relationship has been openly discussed in interviews and on social media platforms.
As per NDTV, the couple will exchange vows in March in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. Although they prefer to keep their relationship low-key, they have never been secretive about it. Notably, Mathias even attended Taapsee’s birthday roast last year.
Taapsee Pannu Wedding Plans and Bridal Look
In January 2023, Taapsee Pannu shared her vision for her dream wedding. She expressed her desire for a single-day affair featuring lots of dancing and timely served good food. Taapsee emphasized simplicity and minimal drama, stating,
“A single-day wedding affair in tasteful nude and other subtle colours. It needs to be basic and drama-free because there is enough drama in my professional life, and I don’t want it to trickle down into my personal life.”
She also mentioned her preference against late-night rituals.
Regarding her bridal look, Taapsee highlighted her wish for a simple hairstyle, avoiding overly elaborate styles. She expressed concern about heavy makeup, stating,
“My heart feels bad when I see these brides who have thick layers and layers of makeup on. How do you enjoy looking at yourself when you’re a different person in those pictures? These memories are not just for that moment, they are forever. You don’t want to look at those pictures and not recognise yourself as yourself.”
Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe’s Decade-Long Relationship
Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe have been in a relationship for over a decade. Originally from Denmark, Mathias transitioned from being a badminton player to a coach. He made his international debut in 1998 and later attained the world number 1 ranking in doubles. Presently, he coaches the Indian doubles badminton team.
Mathias achieved notable successes in his badminton career, including winning the men’s doubles silver medal at the 2012 Olympics in London and a silver medal at the 2013 World Championship. Reports suggest that Taapsee and Mathias began dating around the time of Taapsee’s Bollywood debut in 2013.
