Ajay Devgn, Madhavan, and Jyotika Team Up for Shaitaan; Check Out Plot, Release Date, and More

Director Vikas Bahl, known for Super 30 and Queen, is crafting a supernatural thriller, Shaitaan, with lead roles played by Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyotika. The film is set to grace screens on March 8, as announced by the lead cast on their social media accounts. Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyotika personally revealed the film’s poster, showcasing five voodoo dolls.

‘Shaitaan’ Promises Supernatural Thrills

The film’s plotline has been shrouded in secrecy by the makers. The poster, featuring five voodoo dolls, sparks curiosity about the narrative, suggesting a storyline rooted in black magic. Ajay shared the film’s poster, stating, “#Shaitaan is coming for you. Taking over cinemas on 8th March 2024.” Madhavan proclaimed, “The reign of #Shaitaan is upon us.” Jyotika expressed, “It’s time to witness the rise of #Shaitaan,” marking her return to Hindi cinema after a hiatus. Shaitaan will also serve as the debut for Janki Bodiwala.

Shaitaan’s Cast

Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn Ffilms, and Panorama Studios International present Shaitaan, with production credits attributed to Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak. Devi Sri Prasad is the composer, and the makers assure that the music will ‘redefine the genre’ of horror. The announcement thrilled fans, sparking speculation about whether the film is a remake of Krishnadev Yagnik’s 2023 Gujarati film Vash. The makers have not yet addressed these claims.

Upcoming Work of Ajay Devgn

Ajay, last seen in the 2023 film Bholaa, a remake of Kaithi, is set to grace the screen in upcoming projects like Singham Again, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Raid 2, and Maidaan. Meanwhile, Madhavan, acclaimed for The Railway Men, gears up for Test, The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair, Amriki Pandit, and an untitled Tamil film. Jyotika, praised for Kaathal – The Core, is on the horizon with Sri and Dabba Cartel, anticipating more acclaim.

R.Madhavan Project lineup

R. Madhavan was recently featured in the Netflix series “The Railway Men” alongside Kay Kay Menon. This year, he has four films lined up: one with Ajay Devgan, another with Akshay Kumar. He revealed one titled “Hissab Barabar” with Jio, and another with the Vikram Vedha producers, Sashi, featuring Nayantara, called “TEST.” Additionally, he is set to star in a Tamil film named “Adhirshtasaal.”

Jyotika Projects

Jyotika recently completed the shooting for her Malayalam film ‘Kaathal: The Core’. She also met actor Prithviraj and his wife Supriya along with Suriya and the photo of the stars went viral on social media a couple of days back.
