Directed by Puri Jagannadh, this action thriller is the sequel to the blockbuster hit iSmart Shankar. The teaser reveal hints at an epic clash between Ram Pothineni and Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt, promising a high-octane showdown.

Ram Pothineni Returns as Double iSmart
In the sequel to ‘iSmart Shankar’, Ram Pothineni is back as Ustad iSmart Shankar, or Double iSmart. He wakes up in a lab, facing off against the formidable antagonist Big Bull, played by Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt. Kavya Thapar joins as the leading lady, adding to the excitement.
The teaser is packed with stylish action scenes showcasing high-end VFX. The makers shared the teaser on YouTube, promising a double dose of action, entertainment, and mass elation.
A Sneak Peek into Double iSmart
In the movie, a voice-over introduces the main character, iSmart Shankar, also known as Double iSmart, with some bold language. He’s shown flirting and dancing to catchy tunes. Sanjay Dutt, playing Bigg Bull, makes an impressive entrance and clashes with Ram Pothineni’s character.
Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, the film features cinematography by Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli, as well as music by Mani Sharma. Kavya Thapar stars as the female lead. Bani J, Ali, Uttej, and Shayaji Shinde play important supporting roles.
While the official release date is yet to be announced, it’s hinted that the film might premiere in the summer. It aims for a wide audience with releases in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
