The trailer begins with Arthur spending his time in prison. He then meets Harley, who does a fake gun gesture using her hands and blows her head off. She also reveals that she looks up to him as he has achieved more in life compared to her.
Harley also convinces Arthur to escape the prison. They then set off on a mad and crazy ride, embracing each other’s crazy side. Additionally, social media users praised Lady Gaga’s performance, stating, “Lady Gaga as the new Harley Quinn – I’m ready.” “The first Joker movie was a classic, this looks promising for a sequel,” a user noted. Another wrote, “Wasn’t Harley Quinn supposed to be a psychiatrist that joker turned?”
Will Joker 2 Feature Musical Collaboration with Lady Gaga?
Last year, music composer Sam Slater discussed Joker 2 in an exclusive chat with News18. When asked about Lady Gaga’s involvement in the musical aspect or if she sang in the movie, Sam replied, “You will just have to wait and see. But they’ve done a great job, they’ve done a really good job, that’s all I can say.” The film, also known as Joker: Folie à Deux, is scheduled to hit theaters on October 4.
