The first trailer for Prime Video’s new romantic comedy, “The Idea of You,” is here! It features Anne Hathaway (41) and Nicolas Galitzine (29).
Anne portrays an art manager who meets Nicolas’ gentle rockstar character at Coachella, and sparks fly instantly. Despite Nicolas being smitten and following her to work, Anne is hesitant due to their age gap. However, their hearts are already ablaze with passion.

Solène (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old single mom, unexpectedly embarks on a romance with Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the 24-year-old lead singer of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet. When Solène steps in to chaperone her teenage daughter’s trip to the Coachella Music Festival after her ex bails at the last minute, she has a chance encounter with Hayes, igniting an instant and undeniable spark between them. As they dive into a whirlwind romance, Hayes’ superstar status presents unavoidable challenges to their relationship. Solène soon realizes that life in the glare of his spotlight might exceed her expectations.
Romantic Film ‘The Idea of You’ Draws Parallels to ‘Marry Me’
The upcoming romantic film, based on a novel by Robinne Lee and set to premiere on Prime Video on May 2, shares similarities with Owen Wilson and Jennifer Lopez’s 2022 comedy “Marry Me”. In this movie, Galitzine’s character draws inspiration from Harry Styles and his band One Direction.

This marks Director Michael Showalter’s return to the SXSW Film Festival after six years, where he previously debuted and presented projects such as “Hello, My Name is Doris” (2015) and “The Big Sick” (2017), both of which won the Audience Award at the festival.
