After returning to Mumbai from the event, the 81-year-old actor shared his thoughts on his Tumblr blog, praising the Ambanis for organizing a beautiful “maha arati” ceremony and creating “a truly divine atmosphere.” Talking about missing the usual Sunday tradition of meeting fans outside his Mumbai residence, Jalsa, which the actor barely misses, Amitabh noted, “The gates of Jalsa did not open on Sunday, but the gates of a wedding did occur… up to the location of the wedding and then back just now.”
On social media, he posted a mysterious message on X shortly after attending the event. He was accompanied by his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan at the ceremony.

Amitabh Bachchan missed meeting fans at his Mumbai home, Jalsa, on Sunday as he attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities. He described the event as something he had never seen before. Along with Aishwarya Rai, Aaradhya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, Shweta Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, and Jaya Bachchan, he flew back to Mumbai after the celebration.

Amitabh was amazed by Vantara, a sanctuary for abused animals supported by Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation. He described it as an extraordinary and scientific setup for maltreated animals. The chanting of mantras and the divine atmosphere created by the hosts made the experience incredible.
Videos from the event showed Amitabh spending time with Mukesh Ambani and meeting Ivanka Trump. In one Instagram video, Amitabh was captured sharing a laugh with Ivanka.
Despite arriving only on the last day, Amitabh’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda attended all three days of the bash. The lavish pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant concluded after three days of grand celebrations starting on March 1. Celebrities from Bollywood, sports, and VIP guests worldwide, including Microsoft CEO Bill Gates and Ivanka Trump, enjoyed the event in Jamnagar, Gujarat. On the third day, Sunday, celebrities made stylish appearances at the traditional ‘maha aarti’ night.
