Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment has announced Kiara Advani’s involvement in the director’s upcoming film Don 3. The announcement video, however, did not disclose any details about her role in the film.
Kiara Advani’s participation in the project marks the latest update since Don 3 was announced in August last year, along with the revelation that Ranveer will be taking over Shah Rukh Khan’s role as the titular character in the franchise.

Kiara Advani’s involvement in the film has been the latest update since Don 3 was announced in August last year, along with the news that Ranveer will replace Shah Rukh Khan in the franchise as the titular character.
In the earlier announcement video, Ranveer said the iconic line, “11 mulkon ki police dhundti hai mujhe, par pakadh paya hai mujhko kaun. Main hun don” (Police of 11 countries haven’t been able to nab me. I am don). Farhan’s first installment of the franchise was released in 2006. The film was a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic Don of 1978. Farhan made a sequel to his film, and Don 2 was a runaway hit in 2011.
Kiara confirmed her participation in Don 3 on Monday. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Kiara shared a brief clip and penned a note. Kiara will star alongside actor Ranveer Singh in Farhan Akhtar’s franchise.

Cast of Don 3
In August 2023, Farhan Akhtar revealed that Ranveer Singh would be the new don in the third film of the hit franchise with a special announcement video. In the teaser, Ranveer was seated in a building with his back to the camera. He lit a cigarette, introduced himself as Don, and then turned to face the camera. Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan portrayed the character in the previous versions.
The official announcement for the remaining cast of Don 3 is still awaited. The Don series has always been associated with compelling stories, exhilarating action, and unforgettable moments. Don starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Boman Irani in prominent roles. The film was released in 2006 and won Best Asian Film at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival.
Later, its sequel was released in 2011 and was declared a hit. Actor Hrithik Roshan was seen in a cameo in Don 2. Farhan’s directorial was a remake of 1978’s Don, featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
Kiara Advani’s Other Upcoming Projects
Apart from Don 3, Kiara will be seen alongside Ram Charan in Game Changer. The film is billed as an action drama with current-day politics and will be released in three languages–Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Dil Raju and Shirish Garu jointly produce Game Changer under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations for a Pan-India release. The official release date of the film is still awaited.
Kiara was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kartik Aaryan. She is also a part of Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr-starrer War 2. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
