The sports drama aims to promote religious harmony and deals with a sensitive topic. ‘Lal Salaam’ marks Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s comeback as a filmmaker. The makers released the film’s trailer on Monday, giving a glimpse of the sports drama that seems to delve into some relevant subjects. The Tamil audience is excited for February 9 when Lal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and featuring Superstar Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal, and Vikranth, hits theatres. 

This movie sees Rajinikanth play Moideen Bhai, and the recently released trailer has created a powerful buzz with high audience expectations. The Lal Salaam trailer came out on February 5. While Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal play lead roles, Superstar Rajinikanth will be seen in an extended cameo.

On January 26, the film’s audio launch occurred at a college in Chennai, while Aishwarya Rajinikanth and the team of ‘Lal Salaam’ unveiled the YouTube link to the film’s trailer on February 5. 

The trailer suggests that ‘Lal Salaam’ is a hard-hitting sports drama with an important societal message. The movie is up for a grand release in theatres on February 9.

Produced by Subaskara Allirajah of Lyca Productions, ‘Lal Salaam’ emerges as a sports drama featuring a stellar cast. Alongside Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, and Rajinikanth, the film includes Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles. Additionally, cricketing legend Kapil Dev makes a cameo appearance.

The story is penned by Vishnu Rangasamy, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Aishwarya Rajinikanth while handling the cinematography as well. The technical crew boasts the renowned composer AR Rahman and editor Pravin Baaskar.
