After HBO concluded True Detective Season 3 in 2019, the uncertainty of a Season 4 left fans waiting for three years until the confirmation of new episodes in March 2022.
The Futon Critic revealed the release schedule for True Detective Season 4, titled Night Country on HBO. The first episode premiered on January 14, Sunday at 9:00 pm ET, later streaming on Max. The season concludes on February 25, Sunday, with episodes airing for five of the next six weeks.
