The Red Sea International Film Festival 2023 has organized the Women in Cinema event. Top movie stars and personalities like Michelle Williams, Zoe Saldana, Maïwenn, and Michelle Rodriguez attended the event this year. The other attendees were Garrett Hedlund, Sharon Stone, and a few others.
Hollywood stars were present in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia during the film festival. Personalities from the cinema world flocked to the event and adorned the red carpet.
Star-Studded Event of Red Sea Film Festival 2023
The Red Sea Festival started first in 2021. It is being hosted in Jeddah located in Saudi Arabia at The Ritz-Carlton in 2023. In its journey of three years, the festival has achieved the honor of being a landmark cinema event. Stars from all over the world gather on a single platform to celebrate the magic of movies. The opening ceremony this year was quite glamorous, star-studded, and glitzy.
Screening of HWJN as the Opening Film
HWJN is a Saudi movie that premiered in the Red Sea. Yasir Al Yasiri is the director of this fantasy romance movie. It was screened on 30th December and the guests at the opening night gala got to watch the premiere. The movie is based on the tale of Jinh loving a real girl who is a human. Jinh discovers that he belongs to a family of royal ancestors. The star cast of the movie includes Baraa Alem, Mansour, Naif, and Nour.
A total of 130 movies are going to be screened at the Film Festival in Jeddah. It includes movies from 77 nations and 35 world premieres. There will also be premieres of 20 Arab movies and 60 premieres from movies of Mena.
Saudi movies are being highlighted at the Red Sea this year. There was an unprecedented splendor that made fans and audiences admire the stars.
Top Film Personalities Attend the Red Sea Film Festival 2023
The Gala Red Sea has many famous personalities as guests. It includes Baz Luhrman, Johnny Depp, Sharon Stone, and Catherine Martin. Frieda Pinto, Ranveer Singh, Michelle Williams, and a few other stars were also there.
Apart from Hollywood actors and actresses, some film stars from Bollywood also attended the Red Sea Festival. Katrina Kaif dazzled in a black saree with a matching embellished blouse. The actress posted some photos from the festival on her Instagram handle. She looked striking. Fans loved her ethnic look in the pictures.
Film personalities from the Middle East like Yousry Nasrallah from Egypt and Kosai Khauli from Syria were present at the Red Sea Film Festival 2023. Maguy Bou Ghosn and Adel Karam from Lebanon also graced the film festival with their presence. Regional stars from Saudi Arabia who were there include Abdullah Al Sadhan, and Yagoub, Sumaya.
