Zomato’s Blinkit, a quick commerce platform, has partnered with Sony to offer the much-anticipated PlayStation 5 Slim edition in India, released on April 5. This collaboration ensures that customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru can receive the latest PS5 Slim consoles and controllers within an impressive 10-minute delivery window.

Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, affirmed the partnership through a post on X. Sony disclosed the pricing details ahead of the launch: Rs 54,990 for the Disc version and Rs 44,990 for the Digital Edition, catering to the Indian market’s diverse preferences.

Blinkit’s CEO, Albinder Dhindsa, confirmed the partnership on X (formerly Twitter).

Sony announced the arrival of PlayStation 5 Slim edition in India on April 5, along with pricing details:

• PlayStation 5 Slim (Disc version): Rs 54,990
• PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition: Rs 44,990

Both models are now available in India through select platforms, including Blinkit. The company will also offer the compatible vertical stand as an add-on accessory for the new PS5 models.

The PS5 Slim series boasts a sleeker design, taking up 30 percent less space than the previous version. The standard PS5 model, equipped with an inbuilt disc drive, is 18 percent lighter than its predecessor, while the Digital Edition is 30 percent lighter.
