Bajaj Auto unveils two affordable variants of the Chetak electric scooter, pricing them at Rs 1.15 lakh and Rs 1.35 lakh. The new Bajaj Electric Scooter model Chetak boasts a 127 km range, an 800W onboard charger, and various innovative features. Bajaj Auto, a prominent Indian automobile manufacturer, introduces these Chetak variants at prices lower than the Ola S1 Pro (Rs 1,47,499) and Ather 450X (Rs 1,37,999), the top-selling electric scooters in India. The Chetak Urbane is available at Rs 1.15 lakh, while the Bajaj’s Electric Scooters Chetak Premium is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Bajaj Electric Sells Over 1 Lakh Chetak EVs Since 2019 Launch
Bajaj Auto has successfully sold over 1 lakh units of Chetak EVs across more than 140 cities in India since its launch in 2019. Both Chetak variants come equipped with a 3.2 kWh battery, providing a commendable range of 127 km. The Chetak Premium boasts an onboard 800W charger, enabling users to charge the vehicle and gain a range of 15.6 km in just 30 minutes. These Chetak EVs, with a top speed of 73 km per hour, also offer connectivity features like Bluetooth, app connectivity, and notification alerts.
Bajaj Electric Color Options and Optional TecPac
Bajaj’s Electric Scooters present an array of colour options for customers choosing the Chetak Urbane and Chetak Premium. The Bajaj’s Electric Scooters Chetak Urbane is available in coarse grey, cyber white, brooklyn black, and indigo metallic blue. Meanwhile, the Chetak Premium offers colour choices like hazelnut, indigo metallic blue, and brooklyn black. Additionally, Bajaj Auto introduces an optional TecPac for the Chetak Premium, allowing users to enhance their experience with turn-by-turn (TBT) navigation, music control, call alerts, and personalized display themes. Customers can conveniently purchase the TecPac online through the company’s website.
