Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) and MG Motor India have teamed up to make electric vehicle (EV) charging easier and more accessible in India. ATEL, an Adani Total Gas Limited subsidiary, will install chargers at MG Motors’ dealerships nationwide. This Adani MG motor partnership aims to enhance the EV charging infrastructure and provide a hassle-free experience for customers.
Additionally, they plan to launch a user-friendly digital platform for EV charging services, covering everything from finding charging stations to billing settlement.
ATEL and MG Motor Tie Up to Install EV Charging Stations
As part of their collaboration, Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited and MG Motor India are joining forces to install EV charging stations (60 kW DC) at selected MG dealerships across India. This initiative aims to provide added value to EV customers nationwide.

Mangalani emphasized that this effort will help reduce carbon emissions and promote a cleaner and greener environment.
ATEL to Install 60 kW DC Chargers at New MG Dealerships
ATEL (Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited) will be setting up CC2 60 kW DC chargers at upcoming MG dealerships to strengthen the charging network and make it easier for customers to access charging facilities.
Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer at MG Motor India, expressed that this strategic partnership demonstrates their commitment to sustainable mobility and their vision to transform the EV landscape by creating a reliable charging infrastructure. The collaboration aims to empower Indian consumers to embrace electric mobility.
Additionally, the partnership will offer a comprehensive solution covering supply, installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of the charging infrastructure.
Improving EV Charging Experience
As part of the collaboration between Adani and MG Motor, RFID solutions will be introduced to improve customer experience. MG motor users will have access to RFID solutions at strategic locations within ATEL’s public charging network, including airports.
ATEL operates a network of over 300 charge points, including AC and DC chargers. These charge points are located at various places such as highway pit stops, shopping malls, residential areas, workplaces, and fleet charging hubs. With an installed capacity of around 6 MW, ATEL is also constructing approximately 500 more charge points. This initiative aims to expand the charging infrastructure further and make electric vehicle charging accessible to users across India.
